St Martins Chapel, Chisbury, Wiltshire. Reported 3rd July 2010.

Another stunning formation, yet again located at the site of an ancient Hill Fort. The site is also noted for it’s 13th century chapel, dedicated to St Martin.

I arrived at the formation soon after the report came in and managed to get some good video footage on the ground. Watch out for the blog later this week.

In the meantime here is a slideshow of arial shots from Olivier Morel and Steve Alexander. Also the atmospheric pole shots taken by Andrew Pyrka.

As ever guys, thanks for the great shots.

So clean and clear cut. Lovely floor lay. Thank you.

  1. I googled St Martins Chapel and came upon an intriguing photo of one of the windows. Does anyone see the silhouette of a hooded monk in the outline of this window ?
